In the case of our satisfied cabinetmaker, a new vehicle wasn’t necessary. The existing body was still in good condition and was mounted on a new chassis with an additional support axle (3500 Plus system).
We attached an additional load-bearing frame with its existing superstructure to a new chassis cab and adjusted everything so that it now fits like a glove. We also added a tailgate.
The result = greater payload capacity and much faster, more user-friendly loading and unloading.
Talk about a successful and spectacular transformation!
